Attention August Graduates

ASU no longer conducts an August commencement ceremony. However, students expecting to finish degree requirements will still be able to receive a diploma. These students also need to complete an Application for Graduation. August 2009 graduation applications are due by July 27. August graduates who wish to walk in a ceremony will need to contact the dean of their respective college. In certain compelling cases, students within nine hours of completing their degree may be eligible to apply to the dean of their college for permission to participate in a graduation ceremony.

Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies

Students receiving a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies will choose one of their majors and participate in the ceremony that corresponds with the chosen major.

Students must contact the Office of the Dean of Liberal and Fine Arts to specify which major they have chosen.
