Native American Celebration

11:30am - 1:00pm
Houston Harte University Center, Multicultural Center Lobby
Before Europeans settled in North America, the indigenous peoples of this continent flourished with vibrant cultures and were the original stewards of the land. From generation to generation, they handed down invaluable cultural knowledge and rich traditions, which continue to thrive in Native American communities across our country today. During National Native American Heritage Month, we honor and celebrate their importance to our great Nation and our world.

November is Native American Heritage Month and the Multicultural Center invites you to join us as we pay tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans. In addition to information posters, attendants will have the opportunity to participate in hands –on activities.

All celebrations hosted by the Multicultural Center are planned with the purpose of providing an educational experience in an entertaining environment.
