Mesquite Trio Concert

The Mesquite Trio is comprised of ASU music faculty members: Dr. Constance Kelley, assistant professor of music, Dr. Tim Bonenfant, associate professor of music, and Dr. Jeff Womack, associate professor of music.

The evening’s musical program will include Jakub Kowalewski’s “Terzetto Canonico,” Willem Pijper’s “Trio for Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon” and Ernest Toch’s “Sonatinetta, op. 84.”

Composer Gary Powell Nash’s “Papilionian Dance for Flute, Oboe and Clarinet” and “Soulful Trio No. 2 for Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon” will also be performed. 

The finale of the evening will be the four-movement “Petite Suite” by Claude Debussy in its debut arrangement by Bonenfant.

The concert is open free to the public.

Kelley, Bonenfant and Womack are the woodwind faculty at ASU.  They formed The Mesquite Trio in 2007 to promote chamber music and support new compositions.
