Homecoming Queen Nominee Application

Homecoming King & Queen Nominee Presentation & Reception:  
Tuesday, October 7, 7p.m., UC C.J. Davidson Conference Center


RULES:

  1. Nominations for queen must be of the female gender.

  2. Must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

  3. Must have a 2.00 cumulative GPA or higher.

  4. Registered student organizations are eligible to nominate one (1) king and one (1) queen candidate.

  5. ASU Mascots (Roscoe and Bella) are ineligible to be nominated for King or Queen.

  6. Candidates must be nominated by a registered student organization.  Student organizations must be renewed for the Fall Semester prior to submitting a nominee. Student Organization Renewal forms can be picked up in the Center for Student Involvement.

  7. All pictures will be taken by Danny Meyer, University Photographer.  Please call the Center for Student Involvement at 942-2062 to schedule an appointment.

  8. It is the responsibility of each organization to make sure that their candidate is eligible under the guidelines established by the ASU Homecoming Committee.  To insure candidate eligibility before deadline, submit applications as soon as possible. 

  9. Nominees must agree to participate in all Homecoming Activities assigned (including Nominee Presentation Rehearsal, Nominee Presentation and Homecoming Parade.

  10. The Homecoming Committee will handle all publicity.  No individual campaign posters or signs are permitted.

  11. Members of the Homecoming Committee are ineligible to be nominated for King or Queen.  

  12. Nominees must follow all campaign rules and guidelines.

  13. An escort is not required if your nominating organization is nominating a King or Queen candidate.  He or she will be your escort.

  14. All nominees must be submitted online by Saturday, September 20.

  15. Nominees must be present for the mandatory dress rehearsal on October 3rd at 4p.m. in the UC C.J. Davidson Conference Center and the Nominee Presentation on Tuesday, October 7th at 7p.m.

  16. If nominee makes it to court, nominee must be available for the Halftime practice on Friday, October 10th at 8a.m. and the Homecoming Parade (11a.m.) and football game on Saturday, October 11th (7p.m.)
