Harlan Cohen, author of the New York Times bestseller The Naked Roommate, will speak about college dating and relationships at Angelo State University on Friday, Feb. 17, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.

Cohen, who also writes the “Help Me, Harlan!” syndicated advice column popular with teens and college students, will speak at 7 p.m. in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center.  The program is open free to the public.

Cohen’s new book, Naked Dating, will be released in April and will follow his previous publications, The Naked Roommate, Happiest Kid on Campus and Dad’s Pregnant, Too.  He has appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” and has been featured in major U.S. newspapers, including the New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today.

The author, who previously spoke at ASU in 2003 and 2010, has presented his program on more than 400 college campuses addressing the challenges students face in dealing with roommates, finding love, drinking and their relationships with their parents.

Cohen’s program is sponsored by the ASU Office of Housing and Residential Programs.
