Bonnie Kennedy recognized as Promising Female Leader

 

On Thursday, April 20, the Student Government Association held its annual banquet for the 2017 Rammy Awards recognizing the achievements of registered student organizations and their members. Bonnie Kennedy, president of the Angelo State’s Pi Nu chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, received the award for Promising Female Leader of the Year. In nominating Bonnie, members of Sigma Tau Delta cited her “discipline, dedication, motivation, enthusiasm, and encouragement” and the numerous events she has helped organize this academic year.

Bonnie Kennedy is a rising senior English major with a Creative Writing concentration who is working to complete her first chapbook of poems. In addition to being a student, Bonnie is a mom, grandmother, and an assistant to a local law firm.
