National Rankings for Nursing, Homeland Security, Psych & MBA

Angelo State University has been ranked among the nation’s best colleges for nursing and homeland security degrees, and ASU’s online master’s degree programs in business administration and applied psychology have each been nationally ranked for quality and affordability.
The MatchCollege.com higher education resource guide has ranked ASU among the nation’s 35 “Best 4-Year Nursing Schools” for 2018. Criteria for the rankings included student-to-faculty ratio, tuition rates, value per dollar of tuition, retention, graduation and loan default rates, cost of living and program offerings. The rankings data was drawn from the National Center for Education Statistics, U.S. News and World Report, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Census Bureau and Carnegie Classification.
The ASU Department of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and two Master of Science in Nursing degree programs with Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator tracks.
ASU has also been ranked No. 3 among the nation’s “10 Best Colleges for Homeland Security Degree Programs” for 2018 by the Schools.com higher education resource guide. Criteria for the rankings included program requirements, tuition cost, and admission and graduation rates – based on data provided by the National Center for Education Statistics.
The ASU Department of Security Studies and Criminal Justice offers a Bachelor of Security Studies degree in border and homeland security, a Master of Science degree in homeland security, and graduate certificates in emergency management and cybersecurity.
Meanwhile, ASU’s online Master of Business Administration degree program has been ranked No. 2 among the nation’s “Most Affordable Online MBA Programs” for 2018 by both the TopManagementDegrees.com and OnlineMBAToday.com higher education resource guides. Criteria for both rankings included regional accreditation and tuition costs – based on data from the National Center for Education Statistics and school websites.
And, ASU’s online Master of Science in applied psychology degree program has been ranked No. 3 among the nation’s “Top 25 Master’s in Psychology Online Degree Programs” for 2018 by the Online-Psychology-Degrees.org higher education resource guide. Criteria for the rankings included the percentage of courses available online and annual cost of tuition and fees.
