Owner/Managers : Hailey Myers
Nature of Business : Children’s Apparel
City : San Angelo
SBDC Business Advisor :  Paul Howard

Hailey worked as a registered nurse in the health industry and found it not to be her passion. She and her husband started a family and Hailey found a part time job working at a local children’s store. The owner came to her asking if she would be interested in purchasing the business.

After some researching and thought Hailey decided to look into the possibility and met with Advisor Paul Howard of the Angelo State University • Small Business Development Center. Paul guided her through the steps of purchasing an existing business. Hailey did her due diligence and made an offer to the owner who accepted.

Hailey says, “The SBDC at Angelo State made becoming a small business owner possible.”

San Angelo continues to have a children’s apparel store that includes embroidery services. It has created two jobs to the local economy.
