ASU Wind Ensemble to Do the Tango

Angelo State University’s Wind Ensemble will highlight the Tango during its annual spring concert on Thursday, April 21, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center and is open free to the public.

Featured selections from the ensemble’s annual spring tour of area schools will include Michael Gandolfi’s “Vientas y Tangos” and “Red Cape Tango” by Michael Daugherty. The Wind Ensemble is directed by Dr. Daniel McCloud, assistant professor of music and director of bands.
