ASU Welcomes New Faculty for Fall 2012

Along with a new freshman class of students, Angelo State University will also welcome 15 new tenure-track faculty members in nine departments for the start of fall semester classes on Aug. 27.

Faculty who have joined ASU in the College of Business, by title and department, are Dr. Rex T. Moody, assistant professor, Management and Marketing; and Dr. Kenneth M. Sweet, assistant professor, Management and Marketing.

The new faculty member in the College of Health and Human Services is Dr. Carolyn C. Lewis, assistant professor and program director of Nursing, Nursing and Rehabilitation Sciences.

The College of Education new faculty member is Dr. B. Blake Hightower, assistant professor, Curriculum and Instruction.

College of Arts and Sciences new faculty are Dr. Anthony D. Bartl, assistant professor, Political Science and Philosophy; Dr. Derek Bolen, assistant professor, Communication, Mass Media and Theatre; Edwin J. Cuenco, assistant professor, Art and Music; Dr. Debbie S. Cunningham, assistant professor, English and Modern Languages; Dr. Matthew K. Gritter, assistant professor, Political Science and Philosophy; Dr. R. Mark Jackson, assistant professor, English and Modern Languages; Dr. Christine Lamberson, assistant professor, History; Dr. Flor Madero, assistant professor, Communication, Mass Media and Theatre; Dr. Lopamudra Roychoudhuri, assistant professor, Mathematics and Computer Science; Dr. Deanna J. Watts, assistant professor, Political Science and Philosophy; and Dr. William J. Wolfe, professor and chair, Mathematics and Computer Science.
