Social Media Student Assistant
The Freshman College includes several academic support offices (First Year Experience, SMART Learning, and Pre-declared Advising). The social media student assistant designs, develops, and maintains social media sites for these offices. Specific duties include:
- Maintain SMART Facebook page
- Create social media for the Common Read program
- Create Twitter account
- Design/develop an online scavenger hunt for new students
- Design/develop editorial calendar and support content
This job reports directly to the First Year Experience (FYE) executive Director. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining social media initiatives, implementing a social media strategy, and integrating/coordinating interactive media into the overall day-to-day business of the Freshman College. Other tasks may include research and analysis of social media trends and their impact on ASU students, generating/encouraging inbound traffic, and help with continuous brand awareness.
Will start reviewing applications on Wednesday, February 13th. Position will close at 5 PM on February 12th.
20 hours per week/extremely flexible schedule.
