Qualifications/Duties

Knowledge of: video editing, iMovie, sound, lighting or camera work.  Filmmaking experience is preferred, but not required.  Applicants must enjoy working with kids and young adults.  A passion for movies is helpful!  West Texas Counseling & Guidance (WTCG) is seeking Instructors for a new and exciting after-school program, Video Film Lab for Youth (VFL).  Instructors would facilitate creative groups in filmmaking and digital film production in conjunction with WTCG staff.  VFL is a skills training and mentoring program for at-risk youth in the Concho Valley.  Classes are structured to serve ten students at a time, but may vary depending on program size.  Curriculum is provided, and formats include workshops and project-based instruction that help students develop their creative talents for visual storytelling.

Days/Times

4pm to 6pm Monday-Thursday(6 hours a week).

Salary

Hourly, depending on experience
