-Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
-Be enrolled at ASU for at least 12 credit hours each semester of employment (for undergraduates). Graduate students should be enrolled at ASU for nine hours each semester of employment.
-Completed a minimum of 24 semester credit hours by the date of employment.
-Have a minimum of two semesters of group or community living experience by the date of employment.
-Be free of disciplinary probation.
-RAs are not allowed to be employed in any position outside of Housing & Residential Programs (on or off campus) at the same time they are working as an RA. This is due to the availability requirements inherent with the RA job.
-RAs are required to begin training three weeks prior to the residence halls opening in the fall. Attendance at training is MANDATORY for all RAs.
-RAs are required to stay 2 - 5 days after the residence halls close at the end of the semester and academic year to complete required administrative responsibilities.
-RAs are required to attend regularly scheduled in-service training sessions. The in-service training schedule will be provided during Fall Training.
Monthly stipend: $700
