Responsible for assisting volunteers, parents and Girl Scouts, with the highest level of customer service, during the purchasing of merchandise/non-merchandise from the shop, and operates the point of sales system (RMS.) The Retail Sales Specialist supports the Retail Sales Associate with creating and receiving purchase orders, transfers, bar-coding, stocking, and displaying merchandise.  High school diploma with some college preferred, minimum 2 years retail experience.  Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.  Data entry skills especially in Microsoft Word and Excel and excellent organizational and communication skills.  Customer service oriented and knowledge of the operations of a computerized register, credit card machine.   Have a membership in GSUSA.  Support the development of council fund raising programs by helping to identify organizations, businesses and individuals who are potential donors or grant sources.  


21 hours per week  one Saturday a month


$11.00 per hour
