ASU Tour Guide
ASU Tour Guides must be dependable, energetic, and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about their campus life experience at Angelo State University. Individuals must be professional in all work duties and possess excellent customer service skills, as well as, verbal and written communication skills. Individuals need to be detail-oriented and have general computer knowledge. ASU Tour Guides are required to become a member of the ASU RAMbassadors, a student volunteer group housed within the Office of Admissions.
Job duties include: greeting visitors to campus, providing campus tours, escorting visitors to campus appointments, calling individuals about tour appointments, inputting campus event data, answering phones for the Admissions Department, assisting with campus recruitment events, and other duties as assigned.
10-20 hours per week during office hours (Tour times are during the following timeframes: Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to Noon and/or 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) with occasional evening or weekend commitments for recruitment events. Preference will be given to candidates who have campus tour experience, and can be trained/work immediately during the Summer 2014 term.
