Qualifications/Duties

Must have physical ability to swim to and rescue swimmers of all ages, including adults, and to administer CPR to adults, children, and infants.  Must have an approved current valid nationally recognized certification in lifeguard, basic first aid and CPR.  WSI certificate required. Must have experience which provides a practical knowledge of instructional and developmental teaching methods, swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable.  Knowledge of swimming facility rules, work procedures, equipment, and materials to perform standing and recurring tasks.  Satisfactory completion of installation records checks required.   Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds and occasionally over with assistance.  Satisfactory completion of a physical. 

Days/Times

Flexible - Includes weekends and holidays.  Temporary position NTE September 30  

Salary

$8.71 - $15.24
