The ASU Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is looking for a graduate student to work in the SBDC as a paid graduate assistant in fulfilling its mission of helping small businesses in San Angelo and the Concho Valley. The SBDC is located downtown San Angelo in the Business Resource Center at 69 N. Chadbourne St. It serves those who want to start small businesses or those existing small businesses who need technical assistance. In addition, the SBDC conducts 80+ technical training workshops and seminars on many small business topics. See website www.sbdc.angelo.edu. This is a great way of putting what you have learned into practice working with small business clients and other economic development and civic professionals. It is an interesting service learning environment.
17.5 hours per week.
