Mason Greenstar is sitting on the cusp of becoming a household name in the home
construction business. Working for years to create a consistent building block which would satisfy testing requirements, Zach Rabon, President unveiled automated equipment recently delivered from Canada to Mason, Texas.

“The BLOX which come from this wet-cast unit built by GRB, Inc., will provide for uniformity heretofore unavailable through manual methods. This uniform BLOX will provide the testing entities with the consistency required to award appropriate construction credentials,” Zach commented.

The staff at Mason Greenstar BLOX has been working off and on with the Small usiness
Development Center at Angelo State University since 2002. This relationship has been
strengthened over the past five years as SBDC advisor Peggy Rosser has visited with the
staff at least once a month.

“Peggy has been instrumental in helping our young company advance business in many areas. We have just reached a large milestone – in that we are moving our manufacturing process from manual methods into full automation. With her promoting, networking and overall guidance, we have positioned ourselves for success in the near future,” Zach commented. He went on to say, “Her involvement is priceless to us.”

The automated line will necessitate the hiring of two more employees and rendition of the four already on staff, all contributing to the economic base of Mason, Texas.
