 Responsible for entering police incident and accident reports, as well as assisting officers and public citizens with records retrieval and fingerprinting. Prepares, processes and maintains various reports, records and files. Issues a variety of permits, reports and collects fees. Receives and dispenses information by phone, letter, fax, email and face to face with public

Must pass a 35 WPM typing test before an application will be accepted. Good knowledge and skills of general office practices and procedures. Ability to operate various office machines. Skills may be gained by at least two courses at or above high school level in general office practices and two in typing or combination of education and experience. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and with the general public. Data entry and good knowledge of Windows 2000 and/or Windows XP preferred. This is a security sensitive position. Must have good credit, and must not have any felony convictions. All successful candidates will be subject to background investigation which includes credit history and polygraph exam. Must be able to bend or stoop to retrieve files, and must be able to lift books, boxes, files or other materials weighing 10-15 lbs. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.


Monday through Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
