ASU Writing Project Sponsors Digital Story Sacks
October 18, 2010
The PCWP also sponsored story sacks last year for the first National Day on Writing, but this year’s stories will all be online rather than in actual sacks, said Dr. Marilyn Eisenwine, ASU associate professor of English and PCWP director. The digital story sacks are collections of four photos in Power Point albums that teachers can show to their classes and then have students write stories incorporating the photos. The story sacks can be accessed online at www.pearllesson.wikispaces.com/DigitalStorySacks2010.
The second annual National Day on Writing is sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English to draw attention to the variety of writing people do every day. It is also designed to help writers recognize the importance of writing in their lives.
