ASU to Host Educator Symposium

February 19, 2014

Angelo State University will host its fourth annual Symposium for Educators on Thursday, March 6, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive.

The free symposium will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center.  All current teachers, school administrators, and high school and college students interested in education careers or career advancement are encouraged to attend.

A panel of about 15 educators with a wide range of professional expertise will participate in a question-and-answer format to address issues across all aspects of the education career field, from classroom management and teaching expectations to certification and securing a job.  Refreshments will also be served.

The event is sponsored by the ASU College of Education.
