Qualifications/Duties

Must have current certifications for Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid. Instructor certification required for all except GS-2 Lifeguards. Certifications must remain current during the employment period. Will be required to pass a physical exam and drug test prior to employment.


Applicants must be students. It is understood that a student in High School who has not reached the 12th grade is still enrolled. Once a student graduates from High School he/she must provide proof of enrollment or acceptance for enrollment and seeking a degree, diploma or certificate from an accredited technical or vocational school, 2 or 4 year college or university, graduate or professional school. This proof can be demonstrated by a memo on University/College letterhead, OFFICIAL Bill/Receipt from the school, OFFICIAL transcripts, showing a degree being pursued/degree plan.
