Oil Field Focus of Conference

The oil field and small business will be the focus of a conference co-hosted by Angelo State University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on Tuesday, April 8, at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center, 1620 University Ave.

The conference is titled “Doing Business in the Oil Field: Where Does Your Small Business Fit?” and will run from 1:30-5 p.m. April 8.  Guest speakers will include Luke Legate of the Joint Oil and Gas Education Association; Randy Gill, area manager of FIML Natural Resources LLC, Ozona; Jeff Johnson, CEO of Dixie Electric; James Jones of the Del Mar College SBDC; and Gil Gonzales, director of the Rural Business Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
