ASU Flute/Woodwind Concert

Angelo State University’s Flute Choir and Woodwind Quintet will present a joint spring concert on Tuesday, April 8, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the EFA Building’s Eldon Black Recital Hall and is open free to the public.

The Flute Choir will perform “Harmonious Blacksmith Variations” by G.F. Handel, “Golliwog’s Cakewalk” by Claude Debussy, “The Liberty Bell” by John Philip Sousa and “Pink Panther Theme” by Henry Mancini.

The Woodwind Quintet will perform “Funeral March of a Marionette” by Charles Gounod and “Quintett, Op. 79” by August Klughardt.

The Flute Choir is directed by Dr. Constance Kelley, assistant professor of music, and the Woodwind Quintet is directed by Dr. Jeff Womack, associate professor of music.
