Please join us in congratulating Shannon Sturm on receiving the Quiet Influence Award from the Student Government Association.

At the 2014 Rammys Award Banquet held on Thursday, April 17, Shannon Sturm (University Archivist & Assistant Head of Special Collections and Programs) received the award for Quiet Influence. This award focuses on individuals who consistently demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of ASU’s students, but frequently are not recognized for their service.

Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honor Society, nominated Shannon for the award.  The Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection believe that this award was well deserved.  Please join us in congratulating Shannon and thanking her for her dedication to Angelo State University.
