Graduate Assistant – Athletic Communications
The Angelo State Athletic Communications department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant for the 2014-15 academic year. Job functions include game day statistics, producing video features on games and student-athletes, performing website maintenance on AngeloSports.com, contributing to a department-wide Facebook/social media strategy, working on video projects, writing releases. Individual must show ability and desire to work independently on projects and be able to commit to providing extensive game coverage throughout the year.
Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of one year of full-time experience in sports media relations or a related field required, preferably at the collegiate level. Working knowledge of Stat Crew, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, web editing software is strongly preferred.
Must be willing to work flexible hours which include nights and weekends.
The position is renewable for a second year and includes a monthly stipend.
