I am interested in patient safety, motivation, and personality, broadly stated. Currently I am researching issues in face validity, personality test psychometrics, motivation in health care safety, and several issues related to errors in task performance. I was the editor and chief author of the PharmSafety continuing education series, and I consult occasionally in the health care industry on issues of patient safety.
