Prospective Students

ASU’s Department of Agriculture has an average annual enrollment of 285 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students. Undergraduate and graduate education is the focus of the department and is supplemented by ongoing research in the areas of ruminant nutrition, sheep and goat production, beef cattle production, range and wildlife, reproductive physiology, and meat and food science.

By taking advantage of summer internships, judging teams, research opportunities, field trips to production facilities, and departmental organizations, such as Block & Bridle and the Meat and Food Science Association, students enhance their classroom experience and become highly competitive in today’s job market.
