Areas of SpecializationUndergraduate study in Communication at the Angelo State University has five specializations: Advertising/Public Relations, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, Radio/TV, and Corporate Training. We offer a wide selection of courses to allow you to prepare for a particular type of industry within these specializations. Come visit our campus and meet our faculty. AdvantagesEach student majoring in the department is assigned a faculty mentor for counseling, advice, and social activities. The unique quality and size of the department allows students to gain hands on experience as early as their freshmen year. The department features a computer lab, digital television facilities, an Internet radio station, and a comprehensive photography lab with digital capabilities. Internships are available with newspaper, magazines, radio, TV station, or corporations in the community. Summer internships throughout the state are also available.
