Building on Angelo State’s established legacy of graduating high-quality teachers, the Texas 2-Step certification program focuses on assisting paraprofessionals reach their goal of becoming a classroom teacher.

Educator Preparation Information Center

Our EPI Center provides academic advising services for students in the College of Education, as well as students in teacher certification degree programs across the ASU campus. Our staff works closely with faculty and other support services to also provide career path counseling.

Educator Perspectives Journal

Published twice a year, our campus journal for professional education focuses on specific themes for each issue. The editors and reviewers are all ASU education faculty members.

TEACH Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.
