Alumni in the News
- Robert Tinder ('90) is currently a Research Associate at Isis Pharmaceuticals, a small biotech firm in San Diego, California responsible for bringing the first "antisense" drug to market (Vitravene). He designs, develops and synthesizes small molecule combinatorial libraries directed at RNA, antimicrobial targets. "I miss the good ole days in San Angelo."
- Dr. Robert Moore III ('83) is an Associate Professor of Polymer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. Check out the department Macrogalleria - it's polymer wonderland.
- Howard Arp ('99) is currently working for the U.S. Customs service. He previously worked in a government lab doing chemical analysis.

- Dr. William J. Rogers ('75) - Bill is employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He is the quality assurance officer for River Systems Operations and Environment and has done research in recent months on constructed wetlands and energetic residues on military munitions. He has been involved with helping high school students with science fair projects over the past few years and several of them have made their way to the international science and engineering fair.
