ASU Game Development Academy for High School Students
High school juniors and seniors interested in computer game programming are invited to attend a three-day hands-on workshop on game development June 22-24 at ASU.
Attendees Will:
- Work with Dr. Timothy Roden, chairman of the ASU Department of Computer Science
- Develop games using the C++ programming language
- See presentations on the gaming industry
- Learn about career paths in the game industry
- Learn the basics of 3-D modeling/painting/animation using Lightwave and BodyPaint 3-D
- Participate in a networked game tournament
- Receive a copy of Game Development Essentials, 2nd Edition, and a Game Academy T-shirt

- Camp Limit: 20 Students
- Date: June 22-24, 2009
- Time: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Cost: $100 (make checks payable to Angelo State University)
