Book of the Month Club

Mark your calendars! The Department of English will kick off its Book of the Month Club in the spring of 2009. These meetings will be brown bag, lunchtime events. Each month, we will meet in Academic 025 from 1:00-2:00 to discuss the book of the month. These discussions will be informal and an opportunity for us to meet and discuss the chosen work.

Readings and meetings for the spring:

November 18 : Dr. Kevin Garrison will discuss “The Different Meanings of the Apocalypse: Understanding the Setting of Cormac McCarthy's The Road.” The meeting will be at 3 pm in room 027.
