Concho River Review

Concho River

For over 20 years, Concho River Review has been publishing some of the Southwest's best short fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Started in the Spring of 1987 by Dr. Terry Dalrymple, CRR is a semi-annual literary journal published by the Angelo State University Department of English. A perfect-bound 6x9 journal of approximately 125 pages, CRR has appeared regularly since that first Spring edition.

Even though we only publish twice a year, CRR welcomes submissions year-round. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to access our requirements and information about our editors.

Our goal here at CRR is to last at least 20 more years, providing, in the words of General Editor Dr. Mary Ellen Hartje, "escape, insight, laughter, and inspiration." To continue publishing, though, we need your subscriptions. If you already have a subscription or are not quite ready to commit, pass along the form to your local librarian and encourage him or her to sign up soon.
