Settling In (1 of 3)

CID Number (CID) and Personal Identification Number (PIN)

A Campus Identification Number and a Personal Identidication Number are assigned to students during the application process. Once you receive these by way of postal mail, please keep them in a safe place as you will need them to check application status, register, check your grades, change your address, etc... If you misplace it, we cannot tell it to you over the phone. You must contact the Registrar's office in person with a photo ID.

The CID number should be used instead of your Social Security Number when communicating with anyone on campus.

Registration

Registration Schedules are accessable via the web. Both Graduate and Undergraduate courses are listed in the schedule.

The courses for each term are also accessible online http://rams.angelo.edu/.

Registering for Classes

There will always be several registration periods for each term. The Registration Schedule has a calendar that shows the schedule of registration. The chart below is a rough outline of registration dates.

2nd Registration August January May June

Ways to Register

Registration may be done:
In person at the Registrar's Office,
On the web (RamPort) ramport.angelo.edu, then select Student Services tab, click on RAMS Logon.

Fee Payment

Billing statements can be viewed electronically via RamPort during each registration period. Payment must be received by the last day within that registration period. You can pay by check, money order, or credit card either in person at the Bursar's office, or by credit card via the web www.webpay.angelo.edu by the last day of that registration period.

Make sure you check the calendar in the Registration Schedule for dates of registration and fee payment for the terms you have registered for. If you register during late registration you will be accessed an additional late fee. Payment options for your classes include full payment or by installment. If you choose installments, the first installment is due during fee payment with the second and third installments due later on in the term. Check the University Catalog for specific installment deadlines for each term.
