Annual Awards Banquet
This is an opportunity for the College of Graduate Studies to honor and recognize its outstanding students. The banquet is held yearly during the spring term. Students are recognized for outstanding graduate GPAs as well as outstanding work performed in the classroom and in the field. Currently enrolled graduate students are invited. Tickets are sold in advance.2008 Awards
- The distinguished graduate student from the College of Business was Accounting major Kathleen Pruetz MacDonald of San Angelo, Texas.
- The distinguished graduate student from the College of Liberal and Fine Arts was Counseling Psychology major Romanus A. Akamike previously from Nigeria and currently of Eden, Texas.
- The distinguished graduate student from the College of Sciences was Animal Science major Chad H. George of Big Lake, Texas.
- The distinguished graduate student from the College of Education was Reading Specialist major Chrissy Eubank of San Angelo, Texas.

The Who, What, Where, When, and Why about the Graduate Record Examination The Graduate Dean presents the seminar and answers your questions about preparing for the Graduate Record Examination. For those of you who are planning to take it within the year, we encourage you to make arrangements to attend the next seminar offered. Dates have not been set for the Spring 2009 semester. Once dates are set for the Spring 2009 semester they will be posted.
