Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society)
Among ASU history majors inducted into Phi Alpha Theta during the Fall of 2006 were Jesse Adams, Gose Cavazos, Cathy Fritsche, Jennifer Prichard, Kimberly Shehan, Wesley Tinney, and Marcus Wilson. Inducted during the Spring 2007 semester were Theresa Brady, Melisssa Haderlie, Wendy Harding, Matthew Owens, and Matthew Werling
Coming events this year for Phi Alpha Theta include the 2008 Phi Alpha Theta Biennial Conference (National), to be held at the Hyate Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, Santa Ana Pueblo, Albuquerque, New Mexico, on November 16, 2007 (paper proposals due November 16, 2007)
Phi Alpha Theta hosted an initiation/social on May 2 at the ASU Lakehouse, and held a reception on May 8 for Dr. David Oshinksy, 2005 Pulitzer Prize winner in history. His award-winning book studied the polio epidemic
