Spring Admission Process

Current ASU freshman who have achieved a 3.25 GPA or better may apply for admission to the Honors Program after their first fall semester through the Spring Admission process. Although Honors coursework will typically not begin until the following fall semester, newly accepted students are immediately extended Honors benefits, such as 24/7 access to the Honors Lounge.

In order to be accepted into the Honors Program, you must complete and send the following:

  1. Application Form: The application form must be typed. Handwritten applications will not be processed and will not be returned.
  2. Two (2) Reference Forms: The two references must be academic references.
  3. Applicant Disclosure Form

Faculty and staff may nominate students for the program by contacting the Honors Program or submitting a nomination form.

NOTE: The Honors Program will not accept a student who has not fully completed the application process.

Spring Admission Criteria

  1. 3.25 GPA or better
  2. Top 10% of High School Class (College GPA may substitute)
  3. ACT Score of 27 or SAT Score of 1200 (Combined Reading and Math)
  4. Completed Honors Program Application,Reference Forms and Applicant Disclosure Form.
  5. Extracurricular Activities
  6. Agree to follow the current Honors Student Handbook.
