(Joint Admission Medical Program)
JAMP is a program created by the Senate Bill
940 of the 77th Texas Legislature with the purpose of:
- Providing services to support and encourage highly qualified, economically disadvantaged students pursuing a medical education.
- Awarding undergraduate and medical school scholarships.
- Providing for the admission of those students who satisfy both academic and nonacademic requirements to at least one participating medical school.
Angelo State participates in the program in conjunction with eight Texas Medical Schools.
