Admission to ASU's Physical Therapy program is selective and competitive. Meeting the baseline admission requirements for the College of Graduate Studies and the Physical Therapy program does not guarantee admission to the Physical Therapy program.
Physical Therapy Priority Acceptance Program
The Honors Program in collaboration with the Physical Therapy department offers the Physical Therapy Priority Acceptance Program for undergraduates. Among other things, this program will provide honors students with better preparation for a career in Physical Therapy.

The admission evaluation of qualified candidates occurs in two separate stages. The first stage application process is through the College of Graduate Studies. All application materials are sent to:

Stage I of Admission Process (Includes application & required forms)
Once the applicant has received written notification from the College of Graduate Studies that the applicant has cleared Stage I processing, the applicant will submit an additional $25.00 Physical Therapy processing fee (check made payable to Angelo State University) along with a contact confirmation form to the Department of Physical Therapy. Checks must include name, address, and phone number.
