FAST FACTS for applicants seeking admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program:
- Only 20 students accepted each year.
- Average number of applicants who COMPLETE the application process is 62.
- Applicants who meet the 2400 graduate formula below will be competitive. Applicants below the 2400 graduate formula will most likely not be interviewed for a position in the class and thus not be competitive.
- (300 x GPA*) + GRE Verbal + GRE Quantitative + GRE Analytical Writing** = 2400 minimum points
* Calculated using overall undergraduate GPA or last 60 hours GPA, whichever is higher
** Analytical Writing Conversion:1.0 = 300 2.5 = 320 4.0 = 460 5.5 = 700 1.5 = 300 3.0 = 350 4.5 = 540 6.0 = 760 2.0 = 300 3.5 = 400 5.0 = 620
For example: A student with a 3.1 overall GPA scores 500 GREV, 500 GREQ and a 3.5 GREAW
(300 x 3.1) + 500 + 500 + 400 = 2330 (This student most likely will not be interviewed.)

- Overall GPA = 3.25
- Last 60 hours GPA = 3.38
- Course prerequisites = 3.25
- Quantitative and Verbal GRE = 1096
- Analytical Writing GRE = 4.1875 (489 Conversion)
