The Naked Roommate

September 17, 2009 CJ Davidson, University Center
On Thursday, September 17th at 7:30pm in the CJ Davidson Room of the Houston Harte University Center, author, songwriter and syndicated columnist Harlan Cohen will share his thoughts on the keys to college success.


SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration)

To help you make the transition to college, we offer special two-day programs that provide a comprehensive orientation to ASU as well as personal attention to the needs of entering freshmen. A faculty adviser will assist you with the selection of your fall semester courses and university staff will be available to answer your questions.


Rambunctious Weekend

Aug. 21-22 on the ASU campus
This activity filled event is intended to help students meet new people and is planned for the same weekend that students move into the residence halls. Activities include all types of games, music, food and live entertainment. The weekend will kick off at 4 p.m. Aug. 21 in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena with Convocation to welcome new students.

7:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center


Most Spirited Fan Contest

Aug. 29 at the ASU football game
The student selected will receive a $150 gift card.

Homecoming – ASU vs. Abilene Christian

6 p.m. Oct. 10 at San Angelo Stadium
The football game may kick off Saturday night, but the university has events planned for the entire week leading up to the game, including a pep rally followed by a torch parade to light the bonfire, a homecoming parade and an alumni awards banquet.

Center for Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement seeks to provide the students of Angelo State University with opportunities to expand their ASU education outside the classroom.
