College of Sciences

Our Mission: to promote inquiry, literacy and service in the field of science.

In the ASU College of Sciences, our mission and our programs are aligned with the university’s emphasis on educating students for living and working in a competitive global society. Many students enter the workplace directly with a bachelor’s degree and our graduates currently hold productive and responsible positions all over the world. In addition, our graduates are regularly selected to the best graduate and professional schools in the country.

The College of Sciences includes the departments of Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. In those departments, you can choose from 20 different bachelor’s degree programs and two master’s degree programs. Several of our departments also boast regionally and nationally recognized student groups and honor societies.
