Extramurals

Students who get involved with extramurals will travel to other colleges and universities to compete in major sports, such as flag football, basketball and softball. ASU’s region for travel typically includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Student officials travel with the teams and students represent ASU in all facets of each trip. To be eligible for an extramural tournament, students must:

• Be enrolled in at least six credit hours
• Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA or a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for the last 15 hours taken at ASU
• Be in good standing with the university
• Demonstrate sportsmanlike behavior
