  • Evaluation Concludes D-II Best for ASU Athletics

    December 21, 2011 - After six months of discussion and a consultant’s study on the future of Angelo State University athletics, university administrators have concluded that ASU’s best course remains in NCAA Division II and that the time and resources are not right to pursue Division I status.

    December 6, 2011 - More than 480 students are scheduled to receive diplomas during Angelo State University’s fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St.

  • ASU Forges Link with Roscoe ISD, WTC

    November 30, 2011 - Angelo State University has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Roscoe Independent School District (RISD) and Western Texas College (WTC) to allow Roscoe Collegiate High School (RCHS) graduates to seamlessly transfer and continue their education at ASU.

  • Program to Bring Korean Students to ASU

    November 22, 2011 - The presidents of Angelo State University and Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea, have signed an agreement establishing a One-Plus-Three (1+3) program that will bring 100 new Korean students a year to the ASU campus to complete their undergraduate degrees.

    November 16, 2011 - Angelo State University’s Department of Nursing has been awarded a $117,738 grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) for increasing the number of ASU nursing graduates in the 2011 academic year.
