Mission And Purpose
Long-range planning, evaluation and program assessment are part of the decision-making process at all levels within Angelo State University (University). The University's commitment to improving quality extends to administrative services and provides support for the infrastructure, develops programs for administrative improvement, ensures fiscal responsibility and promotes institutional advancement.
Angelo State University has established a program of internal auditing, as required by the Texas Internal Auditing Act, to provide assistance to the administrators in fulfilling their specific responsibilities and accomplishing the University's mission. The Office of Audit Services furnishes University administrators independent analyses, appraisals and recommendations concerning the adequacy and effectiveness of the University's system of internal controls, policies and procedures and evaluates the quality of performance in client departments in carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
