ASU Post Office

The ASU Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mail is posted Monday through Saturday.

The ASU Post Office posts mail on most University holidays, and the window is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The window is closed on Postal Service holidays.

We offer a wide variety of customer services such as:

Certified - A service used when a number is needed for the article to be traced or proof of delivery is needed.

Return Receipt - A card that is returned to you with proof of delivery and signature of person accepting delivery. A return receipt can only be used with insured, certified, or express mail.

Insured - A service used when the article being sent has a value, and accountability is required.

Registered - This service is used for articles with intrinsic value; cash, jewelry, stocks and bonds should be sent by registered mail. This service is the safest one that the Postal Service offers.

Delivery Confirmation - This Service is used to provide a tracing number that can be checked over the internet. Mail must be sent either Priority Mail or Parcel Post to utilize this service. You may also add insurance with this service.

Money Orders - ASU Station sells money orders. Checks are not accepted for money orders. The charge for a money order is $1.05.

Stamp Sales - ASU Station sells a wide variety of stamps for your convenience. Checks are accepted with a valid driver’s license. Packages are accepted but must be presented at the Post Office window if they are 13oz. or over. The Postal Service is now requiring that packages 13oz. or over have a return address.

Departmental Box Rentals - Departmental Post Office boxes are available for $40.00 per year, and are charged to your department’s account.

Please Note:

The University requires all faculty and staff to receive personal mail at their home or permanent address. Personal mail is defined as one or more of the following:

Utility bills, cable bills, or any statement having to do with the maintenance of a regular residence.

Driver’s licenses and car titles.

Credit cards and credit card statements issued to an individual signer.

Banking cards, bank and credit union statements.

Any catalogues, bills, statements, or periodicals not relating in any way to your job.
