Discounted Technical Support for Personally Owned Computers:
Due to liability issues, Information Technology cannot work on student’s personally owned computers. Information Technology has negotiated a local preferred vendor for students, faculty and staff to install network cards, etc. on their personal machines. The partnership also includes a discounted rate for technical support for faculty, staff and student’s personally owned computers. The preferred vendor, Computer BYTES, provides rates of $40 per hour if the computer is brought to their store and $59 per hour to come to your residence. Below is a list of specially priced equipment Computer BYTES offers to the ASU community. Please contact Computer BYTES at 223-9200 to take advantage of these discounted rates.
