ASUALERT

Welcome to ASUAlert, a new communication system that will allow Angelo State University to send time-sensitive emergency notifications via voice messages, text messages, and ASU e-mail to faculty, staff, and students.

ASUAlert will assist in providing a safer environment, enhance emergency preparedness and keep the campus community more informed.

An initial test message is scheduled for 3pm, February 1, 2008, to be sent to all registered faculty, staff, and students.

FACULTY and STAFF:
Beginning January 7, 2008, you may submit your ASUAlert contact information in RamPort by going to the Banner Self-Service Links channel in the Work Life tab and clicking "Edit ASUAlert Contacts" under Personal Information. A quickstart guide is available for download here.

STUDENTS:
Beginning January 14, 2008, you may submit your ASUAlert contact information in RamPort by going to the Self-Service channel in the Student Services tab and clicking "Edit ASUAlert Contacts". A quickstart guide is available for download here.

The information collected is secure and will only be used to reach you in the event of a campus or regional emergency as defined by university officials.
